Greetings and Wishes

Today it's the 26th December - my favourite Christmas holiday day.

If we are spending the day at home, it's a lazy family breakfast - followed by wellies, sweaters and out in the garden or off for a walk. It has become a tradition that my husband and I always spend a little time together chopping and stacking the wood pile,  then we refill the log baskets for the next few days. I don't know when or how it became a tradition but when we are home on boxing day that's what we do!

But this year we will be with my parents for Roast Pork, family chatter and fun. They don't have wood fires so no logs to chop - however, this afternoon it's a dog walking plan - up around the Cotswold hills and then back to sit round the fire (a modern gas thingy!) and maybe eat some more - mince pies, Christmas cake, cold meats and cheeses!

So let me take this moment to send you all my best wishes
for your Christmas holidays

Hope you all have a happy and peaceful New Year

Love Liz xx
