Kiwi Smoothie



I love kiwi fruit - the colour and pattern of these fruits when cut open is beautiful and they are just so photogenic!

I usually either eat them at lunch time - with a teaspoon - hollowing it our like I would a soft boiled egg or I turn them into a simple smoothie......

Bursting with vitamins, not only is a kiwi fruit really tasty, they are really good for you too...



Here's my smoothie recipe

Serves 2

2 bananas
3 kiwi fruit
half pint natural yogurt
a dash milk


Peel the bananas, peel & slice the kiwi fruit and pop in your liquidiser or, as in my case, a jug. Add your yogurt and blitz - I used my hand blender......


Once all the fruit is liquidised check the consistency and if it's too thick add a dash of milk to thin ...


Pour into glasses and serve.............. you can add ice if it's a really hot day or even freeze the bananas before making to help chill the drink.....
